- 01 - The Magician -

historical - Magician is often paired with the Fool since, just as the Fool knows nothing, teh Magician seemingly knows everything. Often depicted with symbols of all four suits within the minor arcana to symbolize some kind of alchmical mastery, Magician has it going on.  He's the master of sleight-of-hand, the guy who does it with mirrors - your Jungian Trickster God archetype.

card - As I said, the Jungian trickster God type.  Magician is not a bad guy to be.  He's intelligent, sure of himself, active, and knowledgable in orthodox and unorthodox areas.  Like the Fool... except competent.  More sure of himself and his destiny, if you will.
magician meaning - Outgoing - a good communicator, and very ambitious.  Talented, with many practical skills.  Strength of will and the ability  to focus lead to success.

magician reversed meaning - Hesitancy, lock of confidence, or dishonesty. Unlike Magician, not "the Man" - suffers from a lack of good self-image and more than a little shyness.

persona wielder - Allana from Revelations.  I'd discuss it, really I would, except this tarot assignment to my eye makes no sense whatsoever . Ah well.  There's an exception to every rule, I suppose.
